A new blog for a new life, a turned page, a second chance and a fresh start.... I am still the same person, just with a few more life lessons under my belt. I'm going to start blogging again. I found peace in it a couple years ago and then, like most of my hobbies, I quit it with the intentions of coming back some day. I think it's important to chronograph my life. I've been thinking a lot lately about how much dies with a person. Memories, stories and facts are lost with a person when they die, unless they are recorded or retold. There's no way to go back and ask all the questions I wish I could have asked people who have passed. Besides being an outlet, this is another reason for my blogging.
A lot has changed since I blogged last... My family and I moved from Ft. Bragg, North Carolina to Vicenza, Italy in November 2008. We have all been thrust into a peculiar situation where we are missing the familiarity of home, while enjoying the new experiences we have each day living in a foreign country. Hopefully, I will be able to shed some light on what it's like to actually live here as apposed to vacation. It is nothing like I ever imagined it would be....
